COVID-19 response: SMS for all customers

In response to the developing COVID-19 outbreak, HosPortal has today enabled SMS messaging for all our roster customers. Customers that had not previously enabled SMS messaging will get a fair use allowance of SMS for free. We hope this will make the communication with doctors easier and more efficient. We are certainly aware that customers who already have SMS active find it extremely helpful for on-call callbacks and immediate communication with clinical staff.

We will turn this on for each customer today, and will communicate with the relevant roster and clinical administrators once they have access.

We are also offering an extended free trial for Connect, our secure SMS-based survey tool. This can be used for patient feedback or to assist with monitoring staff and doctors.
