HosPortal Roster is Australia’s leading medical and hospital rostering and on-call management software for doctors and other health professionals. Founded over 15 years ago by a senior Australian doctor, it has grown to now have over 6,000 users at over 60 public and private hospitals and health facilities in Australia and New Zealand. Our software can help doctors and administrators quickly and easily develop, publish and maintain clinical and on-call rosters and schedules, events and staff leave in any hospital environment.
With integrated leave management, email and SMS messaging, and document management tools, it offers a complete rostering solution to any clinical department.
Dr Chris Jones
Clinical Director and Founder
Chris is a Principal and the founder of HosPortal, leading the business’s technical and clinical activities. He is also a medical practitioner with a medical degree from the University of Sydney.
He is a practising clinical anaesthetist and he has been a software designer for over two decades, building and selling medical software on a multitude of platforms. His passion is building beautiful software that users love to use and helps them to achieve more.
Charles Lynam
Commercial Director
Charles is a Principal at HosPortal, leading the business’s operations and commercial activities. He is an active health technology investor.
He has previously worked at Macquarie Group where he led the healthcare business banking practice, and has managed professional services and investment management activities in Australia, UK and Hong Kong. Charles has degrees in Computer Science and Engineering, and a Masters in Business Administration.
Terry
Senior Software Engineer
Terry is a senior software engineer at HosPortal, developing the next generation of HosPortal’s products.
He has worked in both large organisations and small start-ups, and actively involved in building world-class software. His passion is to solve technical problems with productive and high-grade solutions. Terry has a bachelor degree in computer science and technology.
Ben
Software Engineer
Ben is passionate about all things software and computer science related and strives to bring his technical skills to develop highly performing and scalable software solutions. Ben has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
Ben led the development of HosPortal’s patient survey tool, Connect.
Shiela
Customer Success Manager
Shiela makes sure that all our customers get the best possible experience out of HosPortal’s rostering and patient survey software.
With more than 15 years supporting customers for large and small technology companies, she brings a distinctive passion for customer satisfaction.
In addition to her Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, she is a passionate baker with a flair for arranging team events, so the rest of the staff love her as much as our customers.

Sales and Marketing Manager
Katie leads our sales and marketing bringing over 15 years experience within the medical industry.
With a background as a Pharmacist in the UK before transitioning to sales and business development on her move to Australia, Katie brings a customer centric approach.

Suha is an experienced Project Manager across a variety of industries, predominantly healthcare.
Working in the UAE and Spain before moving to Australia, Suha has led project implementation for both large enterprise and small to medium business.
